Strengthening Civil and Political Rights in Uganda

Yesterday, we participated in a one-day Civil & Political Rights Cluster Meeting under the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process. The meeting was part of ongoing national efforts to enhance civil society’s participation and contribution to Uganda’s 4th Cycle Review.

We shared our perspectives and experiences, reaffirming our commitment to advancing human rights and accountability. We believe our input will contribute meaningfully to the monitoring and implementation of the UPR recommendations by the Government of Uganda.
