International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3) serves as a reminder that inclusion is not a favor but a right.

As the world marks this day in the middle of #21DaysOfActivism, the intersection of disability, gender, and vulnerability demands far greater attention.

Women and girls with disabilities face increasingly higher levels of violence, discrimination, poverty, and exclusion. This moment calls for more than awareness.

We must, therefore, invest in, include, protect, and empower persons with disabilities.
